Responsibilities

  1. Set up and operate all production equipment related to the sauce operation. This includes but is not limited to all kettles, contherms, sanitation equipment, depositor and freezer.
  2. Assemble and prepare ingredients and materials for the sauce making operation.
  3. Set up and operate equipment for sauce production as required.
  4. Weigh out ingredients to prepare for batching operation.
  5. Combine ingredients in liquefier and batch tanks.
  6. Complete accurate accounting and recording of sauce production.
  7. Return materials and finished product to storage areas utilizing inventory system.
  8. Complete line and equipment sanitation and sanitizing procedures as required.
  9. Utilize good manufacturing practices as required by the company.
  10. Work in a safe manner using proper safety equipment.
  11. Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  1. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  2. Must be able to follow spoken and written directions, formulas and recipes.
  3. Must be able to work with numbers and math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages and decimals).
  4. Must be able to use a calculator, computer, printer, monitoring and control equipment accurately to regulate process.
  5. Must be able to complete production paperwork accurately, legibly and in a timely manner.
  6. Must be able to operate a forklift safely and be knowledgeable of battery room equipment and procedures.
  7. Must have working knowledge of sanitation requirements and procedures.
  8. Must be physically capable of performing all duties, including but not limited to, lifting heavy weights on a regular basis, standing for long periods of time, bending and reaching.
  9. Must be able to work cooperatively with a production team under limited supervision.
  10. Must be aware of all plant safety rules/procedures and be willing to follow them.
