Responsibilities

  • Maintain exterior plant areas in a sanitary and orderly condition. These areas include, but are not limited to, the following areas:  freshpack preparation, shops, Separation Building, and the surrounding grounds.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as repair of spray guns and hoses; install dispensers, painting, etc.
  • Assist in recycle room as needed with by-product, cardboard, plastic, etc.
  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems.
  • Snow and ice removal of roads and walkways.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must be able to use mathematics for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Must be physically able to perform all duties
  • Must be able to operate:   forklifts, scrubber, trucks, snow plows, lawn mowers and small power tools.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain CDL.
  • Must be self-motivated and perform completely with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to direct work of additional personnel.
  • Must be aware of plant rules/procedures and be willing to follow them.
