    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsible for operation of spice machines assuring consistent flow of spice application.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.

    • Monitors and fills spice machines as necessary.
    • Ensures that there is consistent flow of potato chips on conveyor and correct amount of spice flowing onto chips.
    • Makes sure the salts are within standard.
    • Maintains accurate records of spices used.
    • Responsible to keep spices with allergens stored away from other spices.
    • Communicates frequently with inspectors, packers, packaging machine operators and quality assurance lab to guarantee product quality.
    • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
    • Must have good written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
    • Required to lift 50 pound bags of spice.
