    Responsible for operating line labeler ensuring the proper cases per line hour target is achieved during production runs.


    REPORTS TO:     Production Supervisor



    The employee will be responsible for the following duties within the Production Department:


    • Committed to producing safe, quality food
    • Follow and understand production schedule.
    • Proper documentation is required. All documentation must be filled out completely and legibly. All quality documents must be turned in at the end of each shift. The employee will be responsible for following the documentation expectations policy QP.16.02
    • Follow packaging material defect policy, QA.10.33
    • Complete Labeler inspection sheet, QA.09.28 and Accu-Sort check sheet, QA.08.04. Refer to Traceability Sheet QP.08.01A
    • Responsible for minor equipment repairs and adjustments. Adjustments include timing, set sensors, change parameters in autocal for line 3 and aggregate line 1. Responsible for quality checks/setup of induction sealer line 1 and line 3
    • Maintain label area to be clutter free; mop and squeegee area as appropriate each shift
    • Monitor labeler operation ensuring that bottles are labeled properly
    • Responsible to operate main control panel on labeler, regulate machine speed with filler set speed and watch for down bottles before infeed
    • Adjust heads and regulate machine speeds
    • Efficiently perform roll changes, repair web breaks and hand label when necessary
    • Primary operator responsible for Full Bottle Orientor (FBO) when in operation Line #1
    • Responsible for Video Jet, correct cap code or bottle code, Line #3
    • Responsible for all change-over aspects
    • Know and perform all sanitation requirements of processing and production; following correct procedures, sanitation processes, and safe us of chemicals. The employee shall refer to Sanitation Policy SAN.00.02, Six Steps to Sanitation-Appendix A
    • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) QP.09.05
    • Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures
    • Will perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader



    The employee must be able to read, write, keep accurate and legible paperwork, and enter data into computer relative to the job requirements. They must have the ability to work in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, detail oriented, basic problem solving/trouble shooting ability, strong mechanical aptitude. 


    High school diploma or equivalent required.
