Production Specialists are responsible for the overall SQF (Safe Quality Food); food safety and Quality Assurance of product. They are to inspect products for defects based on QA Guidelines for acceptable and non-acceptable product, discarding defective product into the proper containers to ensure food safety and quality assurance. It is essential that they maintain good housekeeping practices. Employee must follow all OSHA and Plant Safety rules and report to the supervisor.

Education and / or Experience:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; balance; stoop; kneel; twist; and crouch. Candidate must be able to climb stairs and steps. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
