    Responsibilities

     

    1. To read and follow production schedule instructions.
    2. To set up and adjust the veg mix to meet production requirements/specifications.
    3. To open, inspect and prepare toted products for blending.
    4. To operate and adjust the veg mix dumpers, cluster breakers, verifeeders, conveyors and shakers.
    5. To mix vegetables in required proportions for start up, production, product change over and shut down.
    6. To maintain a consistent and sufficient product flow to the form fillers.
    7. To monitor and protect product temperatures of all ingredients.
    8. To monitor and maintain required packaging materials, products, ingredients and finished goods production.
    9. Stops production to report any serious deviation from requirements/specifications, or malfunction of line equipment.
    10. To maintain area housekeeping.
    11. To tear down and prepare equipment for clean up.
    12. To rinse and sanitize the veg mix, shakers, conveyors and paddle conveyors as required.
    13. Any other duties assigned my management.

    Qualifications

    1. Meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely.
    2. Meet the communication requirements to perform all duties.
    3. Must maintain a working knowledge for food handling and packaging.
    4. Must maintain a working knowledge for safe working practices.
    5. Must maintain a working knowledge for good manufacturing practices.
    6. Must maintain a working knowledge for manufacturing control points and practices.
    7. Must maintain a working knowledge for quality control points and practices.
    8. Must maintain a working knowledge for critical control points and practices.
    9. Must maintain a working knowledge for blood borne pathogens control and practices.
    10. Must maintain a working knowledge for allergen control and practices.
    11. Must work well with others as a production team.
    12. Must have reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties.
    13. Must work accurately with minimal supervision.
